Francesca Farrell, RMT, CYT

Francesca welcomes new clients of all ages and conditions and aims to facilitate lasting, positive change in each of her client’s lives. She uses her education and experience to recommend therapeutic exercise and lifestyle adjustments if necessary.

The seed of interest in good health was planted at a young age by Francesca’s parents, who made sure she was nourished through the food she ate, the outdoor activities she enjoyed, and the local library.

Her passionate quest for a balanced approach to living took her to India in 1994, where she discovered the deep roots and high reaches of yoga. She continues to study and practise yoga and is a certified yoga teacher. She pursued post-secondary studies in philosophy and religious studies before deciding to train as an RMT. She has been practising since 2004.

The dynamic mix of BC’s comprehensive massage therapy education and ongoing yoga studies form the platform from which Francesca launches her commitment to her clients’ whole health and wellness. She uses deep tissue, Swedish massage, energy medicine, myofascial trigger point release, yoga therapy and other therapeutic modalities in her treatments.

Francesca has also co-designed and taught an award-winning therapeutic yoga class for people with chronic pain/injuries, along with Hatha yoga classes at The Arbutus Club. She continues to teach privately in Vancouver.
