Kaely Brittliffe, RMT

Kaely Brittliffe is a devoted student of the human body and massage therapy techniques that can help heal and keep people healthy at any age.

She is experienced in treating a wide variety of conditions, including pregnancy, sport injuries, over-use injuries, multiple sclerosis, stress and insomnia. Kaely likes to work within the limits of the body’s tissue using techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations and muscle energy, and to help her clients incorporate therapeutic exercises in their health regimes.

She is also trained as an infant massage instructor and teaches parents and caregivers how to massage babies. She loves to see parents, especially dads, gain confidence in infant massage – and the bonding and health benefits it fosters. Kaely and Mandy Ryan, another Soma Studio RMT, have a mobile massage company called Wild Plum that provides pregnancy massage and post-natal massage in the home and hospital.

Kaely has already completed advanced training in craniosacral therapy as she works toward certification, and also plans to get a Bachelors of Health Science degree. She graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2008.

When she’s not working or studying, Kaely likes to do yoga and Pilates, and go riding and hiking.
