Each day we are exposed to thousands of toxins. Chemicals and contaminants can be found in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. These toxins can provide a real challenge for our body’s built-in detoxification system.
The good news is that by eating only raw foods for three days you will gently cleanse and revitalize your body by supporting the removal of toxins. By the end you will hopefully feel lighter, cleaner and healthier!
Munch on fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds (raw, not roasted), and sprouted beans and grains. Try to take it easy on the dried fruit as it does contain a lot of sugar. Make sure to drink lots of water and stay away from caffeine and alcohol.
The first day or two you might feel some detox symptoms: headache, nausea, and grogginess but don’t worry, these symptoms will pass!

Here is a delicious recipe for Raw Collard Rolls:
For the Rolls: 4 collard leaves – cut in half lengthwise and remove the stem, each half will
make one roll.
Sunflower Herb Pate:
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup raw tahini
1/2 tsp sea salt
handful chopped parsley
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 tbsp chopped ginger
1 clove garlic
Mix in food processor until smooth.
Spread mixture onto collard leaf, top with shredded beets and carrots, sliced red pepper, marinated mushrooms and red onion, and avocado, roll it up and enjoy!
